I only had my smart watch about a month. I ordered it directly from Fossil off the website. The watch failed due to the charging rings on the back coming loose. It appeared that my sweat dissolved the glue that holds the charging rings on. Since it is called a "sport watch" I assumed it would take a little sweat in the summer heat.
It took a significant amount of time to navigate the Fossil website to get a return order. I shipped it by USPS 2-3 day on July 5th. The website says the customer will receive confirmation that the watch has been received within 3 business days. I have not been contacted. I can find no way on the web site to directly track my service order. Everything takes you to a Q&A page that does no good in answering specific questions. As a matter of fact, I can find no way to directly contact anyone!
On the plus side when it worked I really liked it. Generally, I would be around 50% charge by bed time. I did find that when I would sweat, it would discharge very quickly. But, everything functioned well and I was enjoying using it. I particularly liked the google pay feature, as my android phone does not have the feature.
Bought some earrings for my mum for Christmas on the 2nd December, had an email confirmation with my delivery address etc. 14 days later still nothing, I check my order status and it’s been cancelled! Called up customer service & did receive a call back on the day for them to tell me that my order went to a store for me to pick up and they didn’t have the item in stock so they refused it! I checked my email and it definitely had my address as the shipping address.customer service told me this is a reoccurring problem at the minute. So that was it my orders been cancelled and I had no email or notification to tell me this. Customer service even had the cheek to say ‘I hope you can find something else from out store still’ no thanks I’ll shop somewhere else

I bought a Fossil watch that basically fell apart in less than a year. I only wore the watch about 12 times.
I sent the watch to Fossil to have the watch repaired. They insisted on charging me for the repair even thought the watch was still under warranty. After, going back and forth with customer support we never came to an agreement and they returned the watch without repairing it. I mean come on! How much could possibly cost them to repair the watch? Terrible company that manufactures inferior products and doesn't stand behind their products!
I placed an order with fossil and they immediately accepted my order and took the funds out of my bank account. Five days later they sent an email cancelling my order stating, they did not have the item in stock and my funds would be returned within 5-7 business days. That is poor customer service. They for one should not take the funds until the item is shipped like some other companies or they should make sure their website is current with stock items so people do not believe they are getting an item since they received the confirmation email. Poor customer service when I called them and no lack of concern. If I could give no stars I would.
Nothing Else to say then bad warranty and the watches are made way to cheap. And sold way to expensive.
Bought a new Hybrid watch from them recently. They sent me a faulty watch that was blatantly a used customer return.
It was scratched and battered and they'd just re-shrinkwrapped it and tried to pass it off as new stock.
I sent it back for a refund but they haven't refunded me and they've ignored every attempt I've made to resolve this.
I've contacted them via the Fossil site, via email, via Twitter and via their complaints department. Nobody responds.
They've stolen my money and I'm now having to get my bank involved.
Absolutely DISGUSTING behaviour and I'm definitely not alone. They seem to have a habit of doing this.
I won't touch anything made or owned by Fossil Group ever again and I'll make sure I deter as many other people from buying their products as I can.

I ordered a watch for my daughter’s 21st birthday. I did no hear anything until I contacted them. They told me it was out of stock so they cancelled the order ( without informing me) it has been 12 days and I still have not received my money back. I’m so unhappy with Fossil that I will never buy from them again!
Absolutely shocking service, Received a broken watch, requested a returns label for a replacement. No one is interested in actually helping or providing any level of customer care. AVOID Buy from an independent that will actually care if your watch is broken upon arrival.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Going on month 5 now to either receive my original purchased item or a refund.
Ordered a watch band during Black Friday. The wrong band was sent, I called and sat on the phone to get it returned. 1 month after returning it, I have to contact and remind them to send the proper item or refund me.
Terrible customer service. I used to absolutely love their products, but it's not worth dealing with the company or supporting them.
I wish I had read the trust pilot reviews before ordering returned some items early February and still haven’t had a refund despite returning by recorded delivery. Avoid at all cost
I ordered 4 items from you and it took 3 weeks for them to start shipping the products. And when I received the package, there was only one product in that package. When I called the Fossil Customer service they were very inappropriately doing their job. So I asked them to let me talk to their manager and they said, they are not supposed to transfer or provide any information about their manager and told me to wait few more days for rest of the products. So, I tried to call them back again in couple of days and the another Customer Service Representative told me that those products are sold out. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received
I originally ordered this purse in November as a Christmas gift for my wife. On Xmas day she opened the bag and it had the letters LIN embossed on the it. (I DO NOT WANT THE EMBOSSING LETTERS NOR HAVE I EVER REQUESTED SUCH). The original phone call to return the item took place and I was sent a new bag approx a month later, only after having to call and find out where the replacement bag was (Fossil never shipped even after receiving the original return). The second bag came in the mail... embossed again with the same lettering that I never asked for. Another phone call, another reassurance that the item would be corrected and shipped in 5-7 business days as the item is standard and in stock.
Fast forward 2 full weeks later and I call customer service again; told that if I wait until the end of the next week I should get an email about shipping, the gentleman can not tell me if it has been corrected with the proper item or not, and that there is no manager or supervisor available to talk to. He is not aware that there was an issue with the item based on my "account" and using the original order number.
I'm still waiting for an email about shipping the third (hopefully correct) item, I have been told that a refund is not available, and Fossil has completely failed to correct these issues. The item I ordered is standard, in stock, plain black bag and yet they continue to send me a bag that has bright red letters LIN embossed on the front. PLEASE SEND ME A STANDARD BLACK BAG WITH NO LETTERING ON IT!!!!!
Worst company ever their watches are cheap and easily scratched they even come from factory damaged or bad engraved with paint issues. Avoid like a plague.
No customer support /service they make you engrave so you can't return and complain
Trust me and avoid i ordered two watches one of them was scratched n the engraving had lines
I've got a fossil watch skeleton type or open heart, whatever, I don't regret to have purchased that watch, is incredibly beautiful, I have over 4 months using it, and it has been very resistant, it still brilliant as the first time I purchase it.
It's very elegant indeed.

Yes. I have had one of their smartwatches for quiet a while. More recently the battery stopped holding a charge. I was so upset and sent it in for repair. The repair is actually affordable. When Fossil could not repair the watch, they offered a gift card for the purchase amount that could be used at Fossil.com. I already ordered my replacement a paid a small difference. I appreciate that after 2 to 3 years, I can still count on them to stand behind their product.

I thought it was fairly easy, especially online. I went to fossil.com and started a "chat now" session. The person on the other end responded quickly, and the process was painless.

Fossil is a reputable brand. They have beautiful quality pieces.
